At the E3 event 2021, Mythical Games ha Announced partnerships with music artist Deadmau5 and fashion brand Burberry for their Blankos Block Party game. This summer they will launch exclusive Blankos NFTs following these specific brands. Details are still scarce, but Deadmau5 Blankos will feature the iconic mouse head and, supposedly, dj's pet cat, Meowingtons, will be the face under the mask.
During the E3 live broadcast 2021, Mythical Games went to great lengths to explain the concept of NFT and player ownership. But this didn't stop the crowd of viewers on the Twitch live stream from spamming ‘scam’.. There were some people who defended Blankos Block Party, and others who wrote “have fun being poor”. The point is, there is still plenty of room for education among the general gaming audience., who still classically fight on Playstation and Xbox camps.
Apart from Burberry and Deadmau5, more designers and artists will work with Blankos. The team revealed collaborations with Michael Lau, Quiccs y The Marathon Clothing. We also saw the Hackatao logo in the presentation.
Ah, by the way, the team further expressed that Blankos will connect to the Ethereum blockchain. Because, create a bridge to move their NFTs from their custom EOS-based chain to Ethereum's mainnet.
Play to win and shred
The recently introduced Party Pass gives players a chance to win Blanko Bucks, what is the currency of the game, and Blanko NFT. Through Party Pass there are daily challenges, weekly and seasonal. Each of those missions grants you Hype Points and, in conclusion, unlock rewards. Think Moola, Blanko Bucks, but also in emoticons or in a special Blanko.
In Blanko Block Party players can add all kinds of accessories to their character, giving them a hat, a jetpack and a crazy gun. With the latest update, developers added many more options to customize the game. Players can enter Mixing or Mashing.
The mix needs players to use a Gumball post. These are new collectibles that can be obtained through Party Pass or purchased from the store. Mixing simply enables you to add new colors to a Blanko. The other customization alternative, Mashing, enables players to try pieces from a Blanko and put them on a new one.
